Less than five years ago, F&K Delvotec moved from the crowded rented quarters in Oberhaching into newly acquired premises of 2,200 m² in Ottobrunn near Munich, more than doubling the manufacturing area. There was an option to acquire the adjacent building also, and the rapid growth made it necessary to take up this option much sooner than planned. In 1997 the second building was purchased and modifications started immediately to adapt the building to the needs of a high-tech development,design and manufacturing operation.

Today we have more than 4,500 m² available over three floors. Much effort has been spent to provide an optimum working environment, such as air conditioned assembly halls with natural lighting. R&D has moved into generously equipped, spacious areas allowing them to concentrate on developing the machines of the future, and a separate area with enclosed, individual bays has been built for customer buy-off and pre-acceptance tests as well as specialized customer training.

Many of our bonders are built for competing customers, and so the buy-off areas have to be completely separated from other parts of the facility.
